2011: ADS is in the process to open additional locations in Jakarta, currently under construction. Additional ADS-affiliated Showrooms and Workshops in Bandung, Surabaya, Bali, and Medan are planned to go into operation between end-2011 and beginning of 2012.

2007: New regulations set by the Government required that every imported car must have 24-months Aftersales Warranty, protecting customer’s rights of a 2 year claim free period. ADS became the second workshop to be authorized by the Indonesian government to issue and provide this warrantee.

2004: ADS became the Brabus distributor for Indonesia and imported a total 55 unit in its first year of operation as Brabus Importer.

2003: Service and warrantee for CBU vehicles imported became increasingly difficult, which prompted ADS to set-up a state-of-the-art workshop to cater to the masses of imported CBU vehicles. Today the Workshop has grow to one of the largest workshops and the only german managed in Indonesia.

Through the partnership with the owner of DRM Motorsport, David Samsuddin, now belonging to the ADS Group, the Franchise of a Mercedes-Benz tuning company, Lorinser, was acquired and its facility at Jl. Radio Dalam with 250sqm opened.

2002: The new 3,000sqm main office and service facility at Jalan Panjang was built and the diversified business incorporated into the holding company PT Arisma Dawindo Sarana (ADS). Shortly after, ADS was nominated the dealer for the Korean Brand Daewoo.

2000: The Indonesian government, forced by the International Monetary Fund, reopen car importation to Indonesia again, with many new companies flooding market, developing Indonesia into a competitive automotive market with new structures in place today.

1993: Winarno Taswin joined the family business, gradually transforming the business into a multi-franchise sales and service company. The focus then shifted from medium to high-end cars with a focus on Mercedes Benz, Porsche, and Bentley.

1975: Import into Indonesia was possible again by using Diplomatic channels and through the Embassy\\\'s facilities, Julianto Taswin was facilitating the import. His widespread contacts allowed him to develop his company to a household name in the vehicle market and established the roots for today’s business success.

1970: The Indonesian government suddenly and completely banned importation of passenger cars in support of the local production of vehicles. All cars still in the ports where confiscated by the government and no one were allowed to bring cars into the country or were allowed to re-export them.

1967: Juliantono Taswin started importing cars, with primarily European brands such as Fiat, Peugeot and Volkswagen, the foundation and success of ADS was laid. Car import to Indonesia has always been full of challenges due to changing government regulations, back in 1967 as also today.
